How It Works
From Consultation to Walkthrough
- Power audit. What you run, how long, and whether you camp on hookups, dry camp, or both.
- System design. Panel wattage, charge controller, battery bank size and chemistry, and inverter size matched to that use.
- Written quote. Every component listed, so you know what you're paying for.
- Install. Roof mounting and sealing, properly sized wire, fusing and disconnects, and clean routing.
- Walkthrough. How to read the monitor, what the settings mean, and what to do if something trips.
The consultation is free.
What We Install
Components
Solar panels
Roof-mounted panels, sealed properly so the install doesn't become a leak. Portable panels are an option for shaded sites.
Charge controllers
Sized and configured for your panels and battery chemistry.
Battery banks
Lithium or lead acid. Lithium batteries need compatible charging and shouldn't be charged below freezing, which matters for winter storage in the Upstate.
Inverters
Sized for what you want to run off battery, from a coffee maker to a residential fridge.
Upgrades
Adding panels or batteries to an existing system, or fixing a system someone else installed.
Troubleshooting
Batteries not charging, controller errors, or an inverter that shuts down under load.
Local Reality
Solar in the Upstate
A lot of the best campsites around here are under heavy tree cover, including many sites at Table Rock and Paris Mountain state parks. Shade cuts roof panel output hard. If that's how you camp, we'll talk through portable panels or a larger battery bank rather than selling you roof space you can't use.
We cover Anderson, Clemson and Seneca, Easley and Pickens, Greenville, and campgrounds around Lake Hartwell on both the South Carolina and Georgia sides.
Questions
Common Questions
How much does RV solar cost?
It depends on how much power you use and how you camp. The consultation is free, and you get a written quote listing every component.
Can you add to the solar system I already have?
Yes. We add panels and batteries to existing systems and fix systems installed by others.
Is lithium worth it for an RV?
Often, if you dry camp. Lithium gives you more usable capacity for the weight but needs compatible charging equipment. We'll tell you whether it makes sense for how you use the rig.
